Review Summary
The HoneyStick BeeKeeper is almost a great device. It’s a 510 battery for use with both refillable and pre-filled cartridges, is highly portable, and has a magnetic adapter to make inserting the cartridges even easier. So what went wrong? For starters, it only has a single voltage setting, plus it can’t use thicker oils and larger cartridges. So, it has all the right ideas but it just falls a little short in the execution of each of them. There is supposed to be an upgraded version coming soon but for now, it can’t compete with other, better batteries.

HoneyStick BeeKeeper Background
The BeeKeeper is a convenient, easy to use, oil vape from HoneyStick that should be great for all your favorite CBD and THC oils, whether they come in a bottle or in a pre-filled cartridge. Yep, the BeeKeeper is a 510 threaded battery that’s more convenient than most because of how small and discreet it is and because of how easy it is to use. Unfortunately, some design missteps prevent it from reaching its full potential.
The BeeKeeper is one of those batteries that fits easily in the palm of your hand and that you don’t have to fiddle around with because it only has a single voltage setting. That may reduce customization but it also speeds up session preparation. There’s more to the BeeKeeper, so keep on reading for more details about this battery.
If you’re ready to get it right now, then the BeeKeeper is available directly from Vape-Smart for $40 and you can use our exclusive HoneyStick coupon code TVG10 for an 10% discount.

How it is Designed
The BeeKeeper has a standard boxy design like so many of these batteries do. However, as I stated earlier, at just under three inches, it is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, or in whichever pocket you choose. One advantage these box style batteries have over the pen style vapes is that the cartridge slips inside of them so it is not exposed and prone to breaking like it would be on a pen style battery.
The BeeKeeper adds further convenience via its use of a magnetic adapter that attaches to the cartridge. Once it its attached, all that is necessary is to drop it into the cartridge receptacle, no screwing necessary. The BeeKeeper doesn’t stand out, but that is fine since it is clearly designed with covert vaping in mind.
How it Performs
Vapor Performance:The BeeKeeper performs well with both the included refillable oil cartridge and with the pre-filled cartridges of your choosing. However, the performance lags behind other batteries because of the solitary voltage setting of 3.9V. It is fine for most situations but a wider choice of settings would have been preferable.
You should also know that the BeeKeeper won’t work with thicker oils and that larger cartridges won’t fit. Both issues should be ironed out in the updated HoneyStick Beekeeper 2.0, which should be launching soon and we’ll be sure to update the review once it’s released.
Battery Performance: The battery is twenty watts and can last for a few sessions, However, it takes around three hours to fully charge so keep that in mind.
