Review Summary
The Kind Bullet 2.0 is a standout dab vaporizer under $100, blending simplicity and performance effectively. Its minimalistic design—a battery, quartz bucket coil, and glass mouthpiece—delivers a balanced air path that cools vapor well while keeping airflow strong, surpassing the Pivot and Aeris in mouthpiece quality despite their temp control edge. The chamber’s voltage presets are well-tuned, with the lowest setting avoiding overheating, though novices should avoid the max temp. It offers better vapor quality and coil performance than similarly priced dab pens. The Bullet 2.0 masters the essentials—clean air path, solid heating, and portability—at a great price.

Background
This is the Kind Bullet 2.0, and it may very well be one of the best dab vaporizers you can buy for under $100. In this review, I'll break down the design, features, and performance of this minimalistic vaporizer.
The official retail price is $100 but you can use coupon code TVG20 for 20% off directly from Kind Pen, or VG10 for 10% at vape-smart.com.
Glass mouthpiece
The three most basic components required for a dab vaporizer are a battery, a chamber, and a mouthpiece. All concentrate vapes follow this blueprint. You’ve got eRigs like the Peak Pro or Switch 2, with glass mouthpieces, water filtration, and longer air paths. Then there are dab pens like the Pivot or Aeris, with shorter air paths.

But for someone who uses rigs dry, such as myself, the sweet spot is somewhere in the middle—an air path long enough to cool the vapor, but short enough to keep things simple and airflow strong. And that's the spot the Bullet hits. It's the ideal vapor path for a dry dab vaporizer.
Heating Chamber
Now, let's talk about the chamber. It's a quartz bucket coil, similar in size to the Pivot's. It's fairly deep, so using the Bullet slightly tilted was never an issue for me.

One thing to note about the coil, though—as you'd expect in this price range—it doesn't have real-time temperature control, and the temperature settings are voltage levels instead of actual temperatures. That said, the presets are well-calibrated. I used it mostly on the lowest setting and never experienced overheating. However, I'd definitely recommend staying away from the highest temp, at least for new users.
Bullet VS. Pivot VS. Aeris
The two obvious comparisons here are the Pivot and the Aeris—both have real-time temperature control. That means the chamber will make real-time adjustments to maintain a precise temperature. So, they definitely have that advantage over the Bullet.

But, once again, the mouthpiece of the Bullet is a lot better than the Pivot's and, in my opinion, the Aeris's too. Plus, the Aeris is double the price.
The short air path of the Bullet makes me feel like I'm connected directly to the coil, and there's something very satisfying about watching the glass fill with vapor.
Usage
As for usage, it's pretty standard stuff: five clicks to unlock, three clicks to toggle voltage level, two clicks to start a session, or click and hold for manual heat—which is my preferred way of using the Bullet or any other non-temp-controlled dab vaporizer.

I pulse the button as I inhale to control how hot the chamber gets. It's obviously not as accurate or consistent as real-time digital control, but when used correctly, this technique can produce even better results.
The Bullet has an optional bubbler if water filtration is necessary, or even a rig adapter that makes it function like an eNail to power any traditional glass rig.
Bottom line
This is as good as sub-$100 vapes get. At this level, you have vapes like the Puffco Plus or the Ooze Titan, and the Bullet one-ups both of them. The vapor quality is two levels above the Puffco Plus, and the coil is superior to the Ooze's. And the ironic thing is—it's so simple.
I said “minimalistic” earlier, and if you think about it, this vape, in its basic configuration, is the minimum required for a dab vaporizer with a clean air path.
