Design and Features
Variable Voltage
The Lil Bitty is a variable voltage battery, which means that you have better control over the flavor and the quality of each hit. You can set the voltage from 3.4V to 4.0V, depending on your preference.
Personally, I like setting it to 3.4V if I’m using a plastic cartridge, but would switch right up to 4.0V for ceramics. These settings give me smoother hits and better flavor. Of course, this could also change depending on the type of oil you’re using, so it’s always best to experiment and check different settings.
Discreet Design
The Lil Bitty’s size makes it a great fit for those who want to take a few hits on the go without being too obvious about it. Normally, compact designs like this could cause problems with users who have big hands. It’s good that the finish gives you a firmer grip, which can keep you from accidentally dropping it.
Lasting Battery Power
The 650mAh battery gives the Lil Bitty quite a lot of power considering its size. One full charge normally lasts for 2 to 3 days after heavy use, so if you’re a more casual user, you can have even longer sessions without the need to recharge as frequently.
Each kit comes with a USB charger that’s specifically meant for the stronger lithium-ion battery power that the Lil Bitty uses. It’s also good that a red light comes on to show you that it’s charging properly, which turns green once it’s fully-charged.
Lifetime Warranty
One thing I love about O2Vape products is the fact that they give out lifetime warranties. I think this says a lot about their confidence in the quality of their products. So whether you’re getting the Lil Bitty or would like to go with a different compact battery like The Nano (read review here), you can have the peace of mind knowing that you could always use your warranty if anything goes wrong.
Lil Bitty vs The Nano
It’s natural to compare the Lil Bitty and the Nano, considering that they’re among O2Vape’s smallest batteries. Performance-wise, they both give solid hits, although the Nano does have additional features that the Lil Bitty doesn’t have, like the pre-heating function and the auto-off feature.
Size-wise, the Nano is still a bit smaller in height than the Lil bitty but is wider. So if you’d rather have a thinner battery, the Lil Bitty would be a better fit for you. Other than that, they are at par with each other in terms of performance.
Bottom Line
The Lil Bitty does all the basics that a full-sized battery does, so considering the portability and discreteness that comes with the size, it still is a great purchase. Its simple design is great for those who just want a simple piece of equipment without the additional bells and whistles. The fact that it comes in 2 colors – steel and blue – is an added perk for those who have style preferences.
The flexibility given through the variable voltage feature is probably the best feature here, knowing that I can easily adjust my own experience depending on the oil or cartridge I use. It does seem inconvenient to have to click the button 5 times just to turn the battery on and off, but it’s a small trade off considering the price difference between this one and the Nano.
